Canada's Chief Information Officer to leave role, join Ottawa's Mindbridge

Alex Benay, Canada's Master Information Officeholder, is leaving his part to go the chief customer officeholder at Mindbridge Analytics, an Ottawa-based artificial intelligence (AI) company.

The World and Postal service reports that the company uses AI to help financial regulators find fraudulent or irregular activity. The visitor recently raised $fifteen.1 one thousand thousand in venture capital financing and secured $xiv.5 million from the federal government that volition exist paid over seven years.

"This opportunity was not part of the program but it's hard to decline," Benay said to The Earth and Mail.
